Cara’s background threads together design, education, and studio operations, which means she understands both the poetry and the practicalities. With training in product design - plus focused study in textiles and jacquard weaving - Cara has a deep respect for material intelligence, craftsmanship, and the quiet discipline of process. She bridges vision and execution in a way that feels effortless, but is anything but.

Outside the studio, she’s usually off chasing her next favorite thing: camping in the Pacific Northwest (always hunting for that perfect river swimming spot), laying down luminous gouache strokes, sewing something for the home, or cooking her way through a family recipe exchange - testing, trading, tweaking, and sharing.
