Our clients, a photographer and an artistic entrepreneur, were looking to collaborate with a Portland design firm on a new stair design for their midcentury dreamhome in Dunthorpe. As many projects do, the partnership grew into a longer relationship, the end result which you see above. An eclectic mix of carefully selected furniture, color pops and graphics carry throughout the design, starting at the front door and leading down to the office. The furniture juxtaposes vintage mid-century pieces, classics such as the Knoll womb chair, with complements such as a custom barnwood desk. All of which play off of the carefully curated collection of graphic art and photography throughout.
