West Hills - modern ranch house remodel

This contemporary ranch home was very loved, from 1968 throughout the 1990's, most recently in shades of purple and avocado.  When our clients, a young couple from the Bay Area with two young children, found this gorgeous home, bright designlab was called upon for a modern makeover! The kitchen was completely gutted and redesigned.  It was detailed in bright white European style, Portland-made cabinetry and floating geometric wood shelving, redesigning the flow of the space.  The island counter is white lightweight concrete, the floors in rectangular gray tile, and the backsplash in an updated stacked subway pattern.  A small pop of turquoise by way of Panton Topan pendant over the sink to offset the client's minimalist style was the perfect punch.

The Scope: full remodel plans for Kitchen shown here; as well as a modern Master Bath, Guest Bath, powder room.  Bright designlab also provided project management, interior design and furnishings and cohesive integration of overall details such as interior/exterior paint palette. The remodel was executed by General Contractor Hammer & Hand.
